Congratulations! Passing the interview is the hardest part, but you are not a citizen until you take the Oath of Allegiance at a formal naturalization ceremony.
The Oath is a solemn promise to give up loyalty to any other country and to support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States. It is a powerful moment that marks your official entry into the American family.
Ceremonies can be small (at a USCIS office) or large (at a stadium or historic site). You will return your Green Card, take the Oath, and receive your Certificate of Naturalization.
Ready to reach this milestone? Track your readiness score and make sure you are 100% prepared for your interview.
