The naturalization English test has three parts: speaking, reading, and writing. Many applicants focus heavily on civics but forget that English is tested throughout the interview.
The reading and writing tests use short sentences. Practice common vocabulary like citizens, vote, President, and Constitution. Example sentences include "Citizens can vote" and "Congress makes laws."
The officer evaluates your ability to understand and answer basic questions about your Form N-400. You do not need perfect English, but you need to communicate clearly.
